When converting nested JSON/YAML to .properties, the tool flattens the structure. However, our current simple parser focuses on direct key-value mappings. Complex nested arrays might lose context in .properties format.

Our parser treats .properties as a flat map. It will generate a flat JSON object where the keys exactly match the .properties keys (e.g., `"database.host": "localhost"`).

The tool validates your input in real-time. If the JSON or YAML is malformed, you will see an error message in the output panel indicating an 'Invalid Syntax'.

No, standard JSON does not support comments, and our parser strips out `#` or `!` comments from .properties and YAML files during the conversion process.
