Agility Robotics goes public on Nasdaq as AGLT
The listing
Agility Robotics completed its merger with the special purpose acquisition company Churchill Capital Corp XI. Churchill's shareholders approved the deal on November 2, it closed two days later, and Agility started trading on Nasdaq on November 5, 2026, under the ticker AGLT. The companies call it the first US listing of a pure-play humanoid robot maker with commercial deployments already running.
Funding
The company expected about $465 million in gross financing before expenses. That included about $164 million from the Churchill trust, a $201 million private placement led by Foxconn at $10 a share and $100 million received in July. The article did not state a valuation, although one headline put it at about $2.5 billion.
What Digit does
Digit is a two-legged warehouse robot that walks aisles, picks up plastic totes, carries them and places them on conveyors. Digit 5, unveiled on September 15, is still in development, with design goals of a 50-pound payload, a 7.2-foot reach and about 90 minutes of runtime per nine-minute charge, plus safety features meant to let it work near people.
Customers
- GXO: more than 100,000 totes moved in Georgia, with two more sites planned for early 2027.
- Amazon: tested Digit for tote recycling in 2023 and is an early backer.
- Toyota's Canadian manufacturing arm: signed a commercial agreement after a pilot.
- AGCO: a pilot at a Kansas plant, with parts work planned from 2027.
The risks in the filings
- Revenue was small: $1.8 million in 2025, with two customers accounting for most of it.
- The accumulated deficit was $675 million by mid-2026, and cash was $14.7 million on June 30, before the July financing.
- The company expects to keep losing money for the foreseeable future.
- More than $300 million in committed multi-year Digit 5 orders is described as potential value tied to milestones, not current revenue.
- Digit 5 specifications are preliminary, and some safety features are still in development.
What to watch
Investors will look for real deliveries and revenue growth, and whether Digit 5 meets its specifications. For the latest warehouse deployment, see our report on GXO adding two more sites.
